We would like to thank all of you for your patience in the past few months regarding the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) and our choice to wait to enroll until we received more information. After recent changes to the terms between the ODA and the Government of Canada we have chosen to enroll today and not wait until the non-enrollment date beginning in July.
We would like to remind everyone that the CDCP is not a free dental plan and that in most cases there will be an amount (a co-pay depending on your coverage) owed by the patient. There will also be a difference between the CDCP fee guide and the ODA fee guide which will be billed directly to the patient and paid by the patient on the date of service. This is called balance billing.
